FAMILY FOREST SCHOOL

Our Family Forest School sessions are on a Saturday morning between 10am and 12pm during term time. Our sessions are  led by the participants to enable them to explore and discover more about them selves and the surrounding environment.  Activities on offer include nature arts and craft activities; den building; fire lighting; woodwork and tool use; helping prepare and cook the campfire snack; bug hunting; relax in the hammocks and much more. Children learn so much through play and self exploration. They learn how to make sense of the world; how to take supported risks; discover more about themselves; how to be more confident and resilient; how to feel better about themselves.

Our Testimonials

Session was fun and it was good to be in the outdoors as well as in a caring environment.

A lovely morning spent making reindeers and memories. Well organised and explained by Sharon. Would definitely recommend and not just for festive fun. Thank you.

Deb N

Fun couple of hours making a reindeer and tree decoration out of wood and twigs today - pure escapism. Festive refreshments, with a campfire to warm through the mulled wine and mince pies. Well organised- thoroughly recommend.
