Woodland Wellbeing for Adults with Mental Ill Health.

The aim of this project is to raise £5000 so we can offer weekly Forest School sessions to people who wish to improve their mental health and wellbeing. At these Forest School sessions participants will be able to experience outdoor activities such as whittling, fire lighting, outdoor cooking and much more.  Participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills and share experiences in a supportive environment. Attending regular sessions will help to grow their confidence and build their motivation and resilience which will aid their recovery. In aid of this project a group of us will be abseiling off the Spinnaker Tower on Sunday 18th June 2023. We have an amazing team who have agreed to take on this brave challenge. Our team includes Janice, one of Portsmouth Forest School CIC Directors; Sarah, our longest standing volunteer; Dean, our supportive neighbour and myself, Alison, Director and Forest School  Assistant.  Please can you help us to help others on this journey. Any pledge you can make no matter how big or small will help us reach our target of £5000. Thank you from all of us at Portsmouth Forest School CIC.
